What will a typical day at Virtual Learning Camp be like for your child?

We base our daily schedule on the school district's digital learning schedule, and fill-in the time your child gets breaks with games, activities and of course, our famous Personal Power Martial Arts class.  Please keep in mind that we'll be making adjustments to the schedule as we learn exactly what to expect from the digital teachers.

You Got Questions? We Got Answers...

How long will you be offering the virtual learning camp?
Currently, we will be offering camp services from Tuesday, September 8th, through Friday, November 20, 2020. This covers the commitment required by Southeast Delco School District  for distanced learning. If this date is extended or modified we will adjust accordingly to continue to offer this service.
How many campers will you be accepting into the camp?
Our virtual learning camp will only be offered to 18 students. Due to limited availability, families wanting to participate are strongly encouraged to register early. Campers will be accepted at a first come, first serve basis.

Can I stop virtual learning camp at anytime?
We are dedicated to providing an exceptional experience to all the families we service. As a result, if our camp is not meeting your expectations please let us know and we will work with you to ensure you are completely satisfied. However, you are making an 11- week commitment. This allows us to ensure we are able to continue to offer this service to all the families and meet our commitments to our hardworking staff.

Will there be early drop-off and/or late pick-up?
We will be offering early drop-off and/or late pick-up for an extra $25 per week. Be sure to let us know in the comments section at the bottom  of the sign up page if you will need either or both.

What about Delaware County school holidays?
For your convenience we will be offering our regular camp services on school holidays.

Who will be watching over my child and assisting them with digital learning each day?
Chris Dyer & Kim Boyd have over 30 years of combined experience teaching, motivating and getting kids to be their best.

What will my child need to bring with them to camp each day?
They will need everything they normally bring to school including their book bag, Chromebook/Computer, 2 snacks, lunch and water bottle.

Does my child need to be martial arts student to participate in the digital learning camp?
No, any child is welcome to participate and no prior martial arts experience is needed!

Are you going to be requiring temperature checks and hand washing upon arrival of the camp students?
YES, before entering our building all campers, staff and visitors will be required to wash their hands and have their temperature checked each day.

Will parents be allowed into the facility during camp?
To limit exposure to COVID-19, state regulations ask that parents only enter into the facility when absolutely necessary. As a result, we'll update you throughout the day with pictures of your child, activities schedules and messages.
Additionally, we check-in and check-out each child and greet you in the parking lot!

Q: Will campers, students or staff be required to wear a mask?
Yes. Everyone in our building must wear a mask.

What social distancing measures will you have in place?
During digital learning and lunch times, all seats are placed 6 feet apart. During martial arts and other physical activities students will keep six feet distance,  and activities will be limited (no sparring or partner drills) to eliminate personal contact.
